Last Sunday was an incredible day for me. I met one of my favourite novelists. She
was visiting one of the biggest bookshops in the city to promote her new book.
Firstly, she gave an extremely interesting lecture about different kinds of science-
fiction plots in modern literature. After this, she was signing copies of her latest
book. Once she had given me her autograph, I had also a chance to talk to her for
a while. It wasn't a long conversation because there was a long queue of fans waiting
behind me, and not all of them were very patient. But it was still something very
special for me. She seems to be a fairly ordinary person: quiet and friendly but
when she gives lectures or speeches about literature, she turns into a self-confident,
passionate woman. She is really amazing!
